2 years ago, we launched our new line of pre-cooked and frozen pulses: lentils, chickpeas and Vendée “mogettes” (AOP white beans).
Pulses are on the rise and there are many ways to eat them, the newcomers in the range are vegetable bites and patties recipes.
Our R&D team has developed 3 gourmet recipes, available and manufactured on our site in La Rochelle:
– “Oriental”, a chickpea base, cooked with curry, carrots, beans, coriander, mint.
– “Italian”, a tomato-chickpea base, cooked with dried tomatoes, onions, basil, garlic.
– “Mexican”, a red bean base, cooked with chickpeas, fresh tomatoes, tex-mex spices.
Encouraging the consumption of vegetable proteins is a major societal challenge: Atlantique Alimentaire contributes to it, relying on the local production of the farmers of our agricultural cooperative Cavac.
They produce and harvest lentils, chickpeas and other dried beans in Vendée and Poitou-Charentes, within 150 km around our production site in La Rochelle.
